Deuter Carry On 30

Known for its comfortable and durable backpacks, Deuter has stripped everything unnecessary from the Carry On 30: no compression straps, no ice axe loops, less than a dozen pockets. What’s left is Deuter’s carrying comfort and build quality, plus the details that matter.

In everyday use, the 30-litre pack comfortably holds a laptop along with, for example, your gym kit. The main compartment zip opens almost suitcase-style, so you don’t have to dig for your clothes and gear at the bottom of the bag.

When travelling, the pass-through between the back padding and the pack lets you slide the whole pack onto the handle of a separate trolley suitcase.

The small lock shown in the additional image is not included in the price. The zip pulls have holes for a cable-style mini lock, sold separately.
